Performance Improvements (PI) Limited was formed in March 1997 and has become a leading independent engineering consultancy within the oil and gas industry.

The company was initially formed to provide multi-discipline engineering expertise to the international oil and gas industry to help maximise the uptime, efficiency and performance of existing installations. This company has experienced significant year on year growth and is now a multi-million pounds enterprise.

The Group structure was created in 2000 and additional start-ups have been spun out, including PI Energy & Emissions Limited and PI Gas Turbines Limited. We now work with most of the leading oil and gas operators in the UK and have a growing reputation overseas for delivering significant improvements in plant uptime, throughput and emissions. Both PI and PI Gas Turbines Limited hold ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.

	PI Ltd is commonly engaged to help improve the uptime and performance of oil and gas installations by improving process stability, debottlenecking, production optimisation and ensuring that fluids won are correctly metered and allocated in accordance with agreed commercial agreements. We are also able to help with developing and implementing maintenance strategies to ensure that Opex is optimised whilst meeting all necessary compliance issues.
	PI Energy & Emissions are leaders in energy assessments having developed energy reduction protocols and carried out both site assessments and remedial work plans for sites all over the world. Products developed include the web based EnergyTracker monitoring tool.
	PI Gas Turbines work across a number of industries in the UK and overseas to improve the uptime, uptime and performance of gas compressors and gas turbines by retrofitting control systems PI Gas Turbines also carry out total train healthcare assessments to identify and implement remedial work plans.
	PI Recruitment Limited aims to provide fun, proactive and efficient personnel for temporary, contract and permanent assignments. We specialise in clarifying your personnel requirements and finding the appropriate person to match both the position and equally, the culture they will be supporting.
	PI Turbo Machinery Controls provides retrofit and new build rotating equipment control systems for a wide range of installed machines like gasturbines, compressors and pumps. PI-TMC also provide consultancy for compressor control solutions incorporating anti-surge, load-sharing, performance controllers and optimisers.
