	Equipment
Details of each piece of equipment installed on your asset must have an identification number to which information, which is relevant to both process and maintenance personnel and is accessible and clearly identifiable to them. From these equipment tags population of information will be attached.
	Hierarchy Development
The purpose of the hierarchy is to facilitate identification and allocation of maintenance at the optimum operational (hierarchical) level in order to organise and manage maintenance in the most efficient manner. Equipment hierarchy is constructed in functional sets and subsets (hierarchy levels) in a top down pyramid structure as described below. Although not necessarily how the facility hierarchy will be structured, hierarchy levels are defined similarly to the example below
